Racing Tires

The American Electric Karting League officially uses Red Vega slick tires in dry conditions and standard Vega rain tires in wet conditions.

A full set of tires typically lasts for one race weekend plus one additional practice day, depending on driving style and track surface.

Purchase of one set of slick tires is REQUIRED to race. If needed, additional slicks & rain tires can be purchased on-site at the track if conditions require.
